Doron Latzer is a founder of Pearl Cohen and the Senior Partner of the firm’s Corporate Group, working out of Pearl Cohen’s New York and Tel Aviv offices. Doron has over 24 years of commercial and corporate law experience working with international companies, both as in-house and outside counsel.
Doron has advised on joint ventures and investments in new technologies. He also serves on the advisory board of EMM Investments, a NY based investment house focused on credit-related investment strategies. Doron was the chairman of Aktiva Holdings BV, a private equity holding company in the Netherlands, and is a director in D.G.S. (Energy) Consulting & Entrepreneurship Ltd., a consulting firm primarily in the renewable energy and the project finance fields. Doron serves as the Secretary of the Amuta Maoz – Seal, an Israeli non-profit organization that fosters civic, moral, and leadership values within the public and nonprofit sectors by recruiting highly trained and exemplary individuals from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and private sector. Doron is active at the 8200 Entrepreneurship & Innovation Support Program, which promotes entrepreneurship and innovation in alumni of elite units of the IDF. He is also a mentor at the Microsoft Accelerator program in Israel, which is Microsoft’s first accelerator that assists selected startup companies in the IT and software fields.
Doron worked as an in-house attorney for the Kansas Power & Light Company (KP&L), concentrating on joint ventures and technology-related investments. He served as of counsel at Shook, Hardy & Bacon in Kansas City, Missouri, and as a visiting professor of International Transactions at UMKC Law School. Doron also served as an in-house attorney at Elbit Ltd., a leading international contractor in the defence field.
