BIOGRAPHY
With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Hao (Heidi) Li counts with vast expertise in patent prosecution, patent portfolio management, and counseling multinational clients in the field of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.
Her work includes strategic counseling, patent prosecution, and patent portfolio management and development in the areas of chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. She has been involved in freedom-to-operate searches and analyses, patentability studies, and due diligence evaluations of patent portfolios.
Heidi has also served and acquired experience as a medicinal chemist and specialized in designing and synthesizing small molecule compounds as potential therapeutic agents for cancer, diabetes, and inflammation diseases. One of her compounds was selected for clinical trials, and she is a named inventor on more than ten patents/applications.
Her clients range from research institutions and universities to startups and Fortune 500 companies. She represents prominent biotech companies and organizations with technological and innovative developments, which include small molecules, polymers, chemical processes, food additives, drug delivery compositions, coating materials, nanoparticles, medical devices, and diagnostic methods.
