Amit Nachbar Chung is a Trademark and Design Attorney representing Israeli and international clients in the protection and enforcement of their intellectual property rights. His work combines trademark and design portfolio management with IP litigation, helping clients both secure their rights and protect them against infringement and unfair competition.
Amit handles trademark, service mark, and design matters in Israel and worldwide, from clearance searches and filing through prosecution, registration, and ongoing maintenance. He advises on trademark validity, enforceability, and infringement, and represents clients before the Israeli Patent and Trademark Office.
His contentious practice encompasses disputes involving trademarks, designs, patents, copyrights, trade secrets, and unfair competition. He represents clients before courts and other judicial tribunals, as well as in opposition and cancellation proceedings, handling infringement and passing-off claims and applications for preliminary injunctions, temporary relief, and seizure orders.
Alongside these proceedings, Amit conducts anti-counterfeiting activities aimed at identifying and pursuing businesses and individuals selling counterfeit goods or otherwise exploiting clients’ goodwill. He works with Customs and Police authorities on enforcement measures and customs proceedings, and handles domain name registrations and disputes.
