BIOGRAPHY

With over 12 years of experience, Kyle Auteri’s practice focuses on software patent litigation, including alleged Standard Essential Patents (“SEPs”), licensing of SEPs, and patent prosecution.

His work includes developing claim construction, invalidity, and non-infringement positions and drafting the corresponding briefs and patent applications, and responding to USPTO Office Actions, including claim amendments; assisting technical experts with opening and rebuttal reports and deposition preparations, taking inventor depositions, and managing discovery. Kyle has been involved in drafting petitions for Inter Partes Review (“IPR”) and has litigated a case at the International Trade Commission relating to alleged SEPs, as well as in U.S. District Courts.

Kyle’s clients range from early-stage to Fortune 500 companies. He represents international clients from a broad variety of sectors, including automotive (such as hybrid engines, heating/cooling systems, and exhaust systems), computer software, and medical imaging devices.
