BIOGRAPHY
Guy Bakshi is Head of DPO Services and an experienced Data Protection Officer (DPO) who has served as external DPO for companies in SaaS, cybersecurity, med-tech, clinical trials, and smart cameras, as well as for organizations that process personal data at scale.
Guy has deep expertise in privacy and data protection law, including the GDPR, Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, and US privacy laws such as the CCPA and HIPAA. His work includes building client-tailored privacy programs from the ground up, as well as managing, monitoring, and implementing them on an ongoing basis. Guy advises on all aspects of privacy and data protection.
Guy holds the CIPP/E (GDPR) and CIPM (Information Privacy Manager) certifications, and is recognized as a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
His clients range from start-ups to large companies, and he has served as DPO for global corporations carrying out complex data processing activities across various sectors.
