Dr. Mallory Lutz is a Scientific Advisor in the Life Science Practice Group at Pearl Cohen’s Tel Aviv office. Mallory has over 10 years’ experience in intellectual property matters, including patent drafting and worldwide patent prosecution in the pharmaceutical, chemical, biological, and medical device fields. Her expertise embraces drafting freedom to operate, patentability, and validity opinions; licensing matters, interference and appeal prosecution. Mallory’s skill in intellectual property rests on the over 30 years of laboratory experience in the life sciences, spanning the fields of chemistry, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and cancer research.
Providing clients with a succinct summary of materials being reviewed during a Due Diligence or FTO Review, and alerting clients to issues that may arise, is key; Mallory is doing just that within a diverse range of Life Sciences fields including cellular therapies, engineered antibodies, synthetic nanoparticles, anti-viral compounds, dermal fillers, fusion polypeptides, amyloid-associated disease treatments, regulation of immune responses, treatments of neurological diseases including Alzheimer’s Disease, and miRNAs.
