BIOGRAPHY

Cora-Ann V. Pestaina is a Partner and Chair of the Immigration Group at Pearl Cohen’s New York Office. Cora-Ann is a highly experienced business and family immigration attorney and represents large global corporate clients, emerging growth companies and individuals in a wide range of industries. Cora-Ann has extensive experience in PERM labor certifications, temporary employment-based nonimmigrant visas and permanent residence sponsorship for foreign national employees. She has also represented artists, investors including EB-5 investors, and individuals in family-based applications and naturalization.

Cora-Ann is admitted to the New York bar and received her J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law/Yeshiva University. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) where she previously served as co-chair of the New York Chapter’s Department of Labor Committee and Corporate Practice Committee. Cora-Ann is the author of articles that have appeared in professional publications such as Bender’s Immigration Bulletin.  She has been a featured speaker on various business immigration panels including at AILA meetings and conferences. She is included in Chambers USA, which identifies the world’s leading lawyers and law firms and she has also been included in various editions of The Best Lawyers in America. She is also ranked by Super Lawyers and listed in Who’s Who Legal Corporate Immigration.

Prior to joining Pearl Cohen, Cora-Ann was Partner at a leading US immigration law firm.
