Abed Nashef is a Senior Counsel in the Corporate and Hi-Tech Groups at Pearl Cohen’s Tel Aviv office. His practice covers a broad range of general corporate and commercial matters. In particular, Abed focuses his practice on venture capital financing and acquisitions and representing entrepreneurs and venture-backed start-ups (especially on the internet, computer software, and hardware) in all stages of development.
Abed also counsels mature technology companies on different aspects of corporate law and represents local and international VCs and other investors in their portfolio investments. He is also experienced in negotiating different types of complex commercial agreements, including technology, distribution and franchise agreements and other commercial cross-border transactions.
Prior to joining Pearl Cohen, Abed was a Senior Associate at Gross, Kleinhendler, Hodak, Halevy, Greenberg & Co. Before that, he served as an Associate and in-house counsel at Massar International, a multi-disciplinary investment company that operates in countries across the MENA region, where he handled different types of commercial and cross-border transactions and joint ventures, including in the areas of IT and real estate development.
