Keren Livneh and Darya Kapulina have Been Selected as “Rising Stars”

Mr. Shelowitz has been selected for the area of Business Law, Mr. Loewenstein and Mr. Wildes have been selected for the area of Intellectual Property Law. Keren Livneh and Darya Kapulina have been selected as “Rising Stars” for the area of Intellectual Property law.
The annual publication identifies lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is based on peer nominations, blue ribbon panel review and independent research. The list was published on October 5, 2014 in a special advertising supplement in The New York Times Magazine and in a stand-alone magazine, New York Super Lawyers – Metro Edition. Only 5% of the lawyers in the New York metro area were named to the Super Lawyers list.
Mitchell Shelowitz is a business lawyer with more than 23 years of experience representing U.S. and international businesses in the full range of corporate and commercial legal matters – from corporate deals to business disputes and litigation on which he currently focuses his practice. He is also the leader of the firm’s recently launched Software Copyright Protection Group, where he is spearheading the firm’s efforts in registering, defending, and counseling on copyrights for clients involved in the development and licensing of software.
David Loewenstein has been practicing intellectual-property litigation for multinational clients for the past 25 years. He has also been given an AV preeminent® rating from Martindale Hubbell, based on reviews by his peers. David focuses on complex patent litigation and cases that involve multiple intellectual property counts.
Morey Wildes is an intellectual property lawyer with over 20 years of experience in counseling clients seeking patent, design and trade secret rights. He handles prosecution of utility and design patent applications, licensing of intellectual property rights, and opinions of patentability and freedom to operate.
Darya Kapulina is a litigation lawyer, counseling clients in commercial, intellectual property, licensing and corporate litigation. She has experience in alternative dispute resolution.
Keren Livneh is a member of Pearl Cohen’s Litigation Group. She has experience in patent and trademark infringement cases concerning medical and navigation devices, haptics, security systems, and electrical appliances.
