Consent is Becoming Irrelevant in Privacy Matters

It could possibly hold up in a world where one needs to consent to something once a month, but not in a world where one installs several applications daily, visits several websites”, says Haim Ravia, Senior Partner, Chair of the Internet, IT and Copyright Group in a Round Table discussion on data protection, privacy invasion, cyber-security and the technological-legal influences. Ravia adds: “It is my opinion that the current Privacy Protection Law of Israel is old-fashioned, unsuitable, and even primitive.”
